Pickin\' In the Panhandle!

The entire family will enjoy Pickin’ in the Panhandle, featuring tasty barbecue foods, live bluegrass entertainment, kids activities, and much more. Set in beautiful Back Creek Valley, outside Martinsburg, in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, this event is just an hour from the Washington D.C. beltway and offers a fun and relaxing day in the country on September 6th and 7th, 2008.

Are you a professional or aspiring BBQ chef? Join one of our competitions and show that your grub smokes the rest. If pickin’ is your thing, sign up for one of our playin’ and pickin’ music contests. Kids will enjoy the “Kids Korner,” featuring a moon bounce and hot dog fixin’ contest. Daily Advance tickets are now available for $10/adult and $5/children under 12 (kids under 3 are free)and weekend and camping passes are also available. They can be purchased by calling he Martinsburg-Berkeley County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau at 304-264-8801 using Mastercard or Visa, check or cash.

Gates will be open for Pickin in the Panhandle from 9:30 am Saturday, September 6, 2007 and close at 5:00pm on Sunday, September 7th, 2007.
