An awareness and nature inspired event hosted by and at Bushtail Creek Unique Gifts located at 340 Parish Dr, Martinsburg, WV 25403. When Joanna Drayton (Katharine Houghton), a free-thinking white woman, and black doctor John Prentice (Sidney Poitier) become engaged, they travel to San Francisco to meet her parents. Matt Drayton (Spencer Tracy) and his wife Christina (Katharine Hepburn) are wealthy liberals who must confront the latent racism the coming marriage arouses. Also attending the Draytons' dinner are Prentice's parents (Roy E. Glenn Sr., Beah Richards), who vehemently disapprove of the relationship.

On July 4, at 9:30 pm, Zambelli Fireworks will be presenting the City of Martinsburg’s fireworks display from a new location on the hill at the end of E. John Street. The public will not be allowed to access E. John Street past the intersection of Oak Street.

While this is the City's first year at this location, some of the sites that folks viewed a smaller December fireworks display from included: PO Faulkner Park; the Caperton Train Station; Adam Stephen House, various areas around Downtown Martinsburg and the Berkeley 2000 Center. We believe this area will allow for more visibility and allows for the display to be set off on City property. There is not a designated or centralized gathering place for viewing the July 4th display as there are various areas where they can be viewed.

Amani Outdoor Music Jam

We are so excited to be hosting our first ever Outdoor Music Jam. 6 hours of live music on our beautiful, scenic farm accompanied by our awesome beer, cocktails, and pizza! We are starting the day off with Billy & The Curly Brothers, a band based out of West Virginia who specialize in a variety of covers that range from pub songs, folk, country, and classic rock. Then Coltt Lepley, an Amani favorite is going to keep the day jamming with some folk originals and covers. Barefoot Sunshine Band is then going to feature some of their Americana/Roots rock music. Last, but certainly not least, our headliner, James Lavine & the Forty Acre Band is going to wind the day up! James is a singer/songwriter out of Nashville, TN who plays a variety of country music from new country, 90s, outlaw country mixed with his very own originals!
